COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Last updated: November 30, 2020

We understand that you are likely feeling very uneasy given the challenges that COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has presented to all of our daily routines and future plans. We have been diligently monitoring updates surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) daily and we are adhering to the recommendation and guidelines from federal, provincial and local authorities.

Our physical office has been temporarily closed and we have shifted to primarily working remotely as a precaution for our staff and clients and to do our part in trying to limit the spread of this virus. However, as a firm, we are currently and will continue to be 100% operational, with our staff working from the safety of their homes. Lawyers and support staff will be available by email and teleconferences can be coordinated by email. We remain available to assist you in any way possible.

The Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice suspended regular operations until further notice effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in light of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis. At this time, regular operations have not yet fully resumed at court. Procedures are being developed to resume regular operations. Further court updates and notices may be obtained at www.ontariocourts.ca.

To help prevent the spread of illness, and for the safety and well being of you and others, we encourage you to stay informed and comply with all federal, provincial and local restrictions and recommendations regarding COVID-19.

We are doing the best we can to navigate these uncertain and difficult times as they continue to evolve during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. These are unprecedented circumstances we are dealing with, and not all questions can be answered with certainty at this time. We will have to be patient and see how things unfold, stay informed and be as responsive as reasonably possible.
